Welcome to our new website “Opening Doors in the Shoals”. Suzanne and I are excited about the new tools we have to communicate with our customers and potential buyers and sellers of real estate.
Buying and Selling has come a long way since I sold my first home in June of 1990 in the baby pool while watching my four boys splash in our community pool in Richmond, Virginia. Our family was relocating to Greenville, SC. We had a lovely new traditional two-story home with a long country front porch. It was a touch of “southern” for this New Englander. As I sat in the pool extolling the features of our home to a mother who had three boys, she got interested, and it was a bonus that we had an assumable FHA loan. In a week they bought the home!
Buying and Selling has gotten more complicated in the ensuing years with so many financing options, home inspections etc.
That’s the reason for this website—to provide you with rich content, a monthly newsletter, an easy way to search listings, information about the Shoals area, and helpful resources to keep buyers and sellers knowledgeable and up to date.
